Striking picture of 35 women whom Cosby (allegedly?) assaulted.

Interesting "Family Picture" of the 34 documented wives of Joseph Smith.

Pretty striking.

Peace

No real comparison, but I get the 'shocking' part and understand the amazement.

Maybe the Smith is much worse, Cosby seems to be advocating research and investigation to seek out the larger, fuller story. I never remember Joseph Smith as a proven advocate of transparency and investigation.

Joseph Smith never had a job, never worked a day of his life. When his older brother's death came about because of a physician's honest error, Joe wasn't up to the duty of filling his sibling's shoes. JS started to implode and began either experiments with drugs like his hapless dad or had symptoms rooted in some other sort of more legitimate medical problem or possible seizures, from the added and known stressors.

Couldn't really be more unalike to Bill Cosby in those few but gigantic ways.

Fawn M. Brodie's "No Man Knows My History" is the best biography of Joseph Smith Junior I have read. But I have only read less than a dozen, so there may yet be a more excellent one to be written in the future.
