Four days before Yukon died, he was having a bad day. I was cooking him some breaded fish; trying to get him to eat something. He was no longer eating the sausages I bought for him. The guy quit eating dog food weeks ago.
So, I step outside with a piece of fish and I see Yukon walking straight to the grave I had dug for him. Then, he crawled right in and laid down. I called my minister friend to tell him what just happened and he said, "You need to get him out of that hole."
I said, "I'm not so sure, he wants to be in there."
As far as I know, Yukon did not know that hole even existed. I tried to keep it hidden from him. To me, it seemed like an angel led him there.
Yukon stayed in the hole all night. I have a picture of him in the hole which I took at 3 am. I viewed the image on my computer and thought he was dead.
At about 10:30 the next day he crawled out of the hole. I had four more wonderful days to fellowship with my friend.
Speaking of Cognitive Dissonance and the LDS Faith, why haven't the elders contacted me since I wrote that article?http://richkelsey.org/cognitive_dissonance.html
I would have changed their names if asked to. In reality, they own their behavior. And, it was really bad. Yet, I understand. They were young.
Come on guys talk to me. I know you read the article; a little bird told me.
