Kay Burningham
Attorney, Advocate, and Author of
An American Fraud: One Lawyer's Case against Mormonism

I just finished this book and it was excellent. I highly recommend it for summer reading.
On top of that our own Mormon Curtain founded by Infymus was cited in her notes, not once, but four times!
YAY!!

It is a good informative read from the legal perspective. Kay's pretty active..been featured in the BBC documentary, "The Mormon Candidate", on Kuen Ch 20, and even participates from time to time on the PostMo forums.

I find her articulate, and very well grounded on factual informationn in her post Mormon position.

A little scuttlebutt from the local grapevine has a couple of former LD$ attorneys now huddling together and considering RICO statute violations...guessing here, that they are easier to prove and enforce than religious fraud statutes.

Maybe like some possible Small Claims Court Cases for less than $25,000 in sought out rewards for each individual file.

I don't think that these experienced legal eagles are going to consider the peanut strewn, small potato, small claims route...RICO statute infringements usually carry much stiffer penalties than the small claims, lower courts.

But time will tell more....Personally, I'd like to see something like this get off the ground, get airborne, and give it some financial support to keep it flying...
