Hi! Now I am sure this is not what Rainfeather intended, only I am locked out of my main account and I am hoping beyond hope that Infymus can sort it for me. In the meantime, this is me! Melanie

Hi Mel. What I intended? Huh?

Why are you locked out of your account? Did you forget your password? I'd help if I could, but I don't have any powers when it comes to member accounts. I can only affect posts, if necessary.

Yay.......Infymus to the rescue! I am back!

Rainfeather, I was just referring, rather laterally, to you mentioning about correct useage of the New Member Introduction Forum a few days back.

Yes, are you sitting comfortably? The C disc is almost completely full up on my computer, I have a red bar that shows it is not good. So I thought I would try and sort it and removed a programme that told me it was to do with the mouse, but when I deleted it, which anyway did not make any difference to the C disc red bar, I lost all my passwords and the email account that I had set this up with years ago is now obselete so I could not use the usual retrieval system. I couldn't set up a new account without setting up a totally different email from the one I normally use so I had to make a new email account and then I could register on here as mel, which enabled me to contact Infymus. The story of my past couple of days!

Wow!, Melanie. Cyber-mageddon. Glad you got back on alright. I keep my accounts and passwords written down in a special little notebook I keep away from other eyes; and I have added an external drive that holds a terabyte. It's an old thing. Now the ones you can get have multiple terabytes. But it handles all my overflow. :)

Oh, okay. Well they were turning the Introduction thread into a case for Mormonism. So I figured they'd introduced themselves, but if they wanted to argue for Mormonism, maybe they might want to move that discussion to the debate section.

I just bought a new computer because I'd used up all of the memory on my 7 or 8 year old machine. It was causing some interesting things to happen.

I'm glad that you managed to sort out your issues on the forum.

Ha, I think my issues are with myself clearly not knowing how to use this computer and further to that not having the nouse of Abinadi to write the passwords down! :)

I shouldn't think the conversation with the gentleman went out of the guidelines on purpose, it certainly didn't for my part. It can seem kind of natural to chat to a person where they first post. It was ages before I understood all the different forums and that they didn't all even show on the active topics page.

As as a totally personal point, I don't think it is at all out of the remit of the board to say with maturity, I hear someone where they are, and have the experience to walk with them in that path.

The guy was actually quite polite to the Board. I would have been interested to see how his experience of the church went that Sunday. I wish him well. And that is important to me.

It was good that someone put a post in New Members Introductions at least. Getting a bit of a rarity these days!

Happy Easter.

I agree. They're polite. I like them. I just want what looks to be the beginnings of a long discussion to move to the board which fits the topic for an ex-Mo forum. Some ex-Mos are in the early stages of recovery and are very sensitive to pro-Mormon discussions.

Trolls don't care much, since they're smart as fox. Yeah I said fox... harhaahaa...

Not counting on any more visits for weeks and weeks, if ever. Good thing, thems types ain't that easy on the eyeballs.

Care? Like the NY judge that told Joe to leave and don't dare try returning.

Well, there was that possibility too. But i always give someone the benefit of a doubt first.

Sometimes when they seem to maybe start acting a little bit like a goofball it's often because they might think others are incorrectly thought of as goofy, but smart people are already on to the game.

You've proven you're too smart for them over and over again Rain.
